Farmer Data & Payment Ecosystem
Registration, mapping, traceability and payment in one data system.
Overview
This work covers the data systems underneath farmer registration, farm mapping, traceability, payment workflows and operational reporting. It includes a traceability application for purchasing cocoa beans from farmers, with a database and payment portal, and payment-traceability work across factory locations.
The Challenge
Farmer identity, farm location, traceability and payment are often treated as separate projects. When they are not connected, operations cannot answer basic questions: who was paid, for what, from where, and with what evidence.
The Approach
The ecosystem was approached as a data problem with operational consequences. Registration, mapping, payments and reporting were designed as related records rather than isolated tools, so traceability could survive the path from farm to payment.
The Solution
Data systems support farmer registration, farm mapping, payment workflows, traceability and operational reporting. The emphasis is a coherent data layer that operations and finance can use without reconstructing the story from separate files.

Impact / Outcomes
Farmer, farm, payment and reporting data can be treated as a connected ecosystem rather than a set of disconnected operational files.
Lessons
Digital agriculture fails at the joins. Registration without mapping, or payments without traceability, creates a system that cannot answer the questions regulators, finance and field teams actually ask.
