Legal Practice Network & Systems
Current network and system administration consulting for a legal firm.
Overview
This is a current consulting engagement with a legal practice. The work is network and system administration for the firm. It includes—and is not limited to—server–client configuration, file sharing and printing, access-point configuration, Google Workspace administration and systems security.
The Challenge
A legal practice depends on available systems, shared files, printing and a network staff can use every day. When administration is informal, access, continuity and day-to-day support become interruptions instead of an operating discipline.
The Approach
The engagement is consulting-led: understand how the firm works, then administer the environment around that work—servers and clients, file and print services, wireless access, Google Workspace and systems security.
The Solution
Ongoing network and system administration for a legal practice, covering server–client configuration, file sharing and printing, access-point configuration, Google Workspace administration and systems security.
Key Capabilities
- Server–client configuration

Impact / Outcomes
The practice has dedicated consulting support for the environment it uses every day—servers and clients, file and print, wireless access, Google Workspace and systems security.
Lessons
Professional-services firms feel infrastructure last—until a system is unavailable. Administration has to be designed as part of the practice, not as a favour when something breaks.
