Church Digital Platform

A digital system for church operations, projects and engagement.

Overview

This is a church digital platform, not a CRM with a website attached. It brings public information, projects, giving, visit planning, sermons, streaming, podcasts and member services together with a staff administration layer behind role-based access. Production and programme support sit in the same system as congregation-facing services.

The Challenge

Church information, projects and member-facing services were spread across disconnected pages, tools and informal processes. Staff needed operational modules—people, projects, giving, care, events, production—while the congregation needed a clear public experience.

The Approach

The product was designed as two surfaces on one platform: a public digital experience for the congregation, and a governed administration workspace for staff. Projects, people, operations, stewardship, engagement and broadcasting were modelled as connected modules rather than separate mini-sites.

The Solution

Visitors can find church information, follow projects, plan a visit, give, and access sermons, live streaming and podcasts. Staff administer members, projects, operations and engagement from a role-based workspace. The same product can run as a hosted system or as a local demonstration environment, with the public site and administration sharing one information model.

Impact / Outcomes

Church information, projects and member-facing services sit in one accessible experience, with staff administration designed as part of the same platform rather than a separate back office.

Lessons

Community platforms need a public narrative and an operational system. If only the website is designed, staff still run the church in spreadsheets. If only the admin tools are designed, the congregation never sees a coherent experience.
