Odoo ERP Implementation

Consolidating supply-chain processes in one ERP.

Overview

This engagement covered the setup and implementation of Odoo ERP to consolidate business processes. The current phase is focused mainly on supply chain.

The Challenge

Business processes sat in separate tools and routines. Supply chain work needed a more consolidated system before a wider ERP footprint would be useful.

The Approach

Implementation was phased. Supply chain was treated as the first operating surface, so the organisation could consolidate a real process rather than attempting a complete ERP cutover at once.

The Solution

Odoo ERP was set up and implemented with the current focus on supply-chain processes, as a step toward consolidating a wider set of business operations.

Impact / Outcomes

Supply-chain processes have a consolidated ERP path, rather than remaining spread across disconnected operational tools.

Lessons

ERP programmes fail when every process is pulled in at once. A first phase that the operation can actually run is more valuable than a complete map that nobody uses.
